Hurtless Stitches
Behind The Design
Do you know the true story of Edward Cane. He was born at the time of the great winter. The cold that never ends. No one could have prepared for such a storm. One by one, People started disappearing. They'd say, the winter claimed another. Edward Cane sought to control the winter through dark magic as a means to absolve the town from the cold. He soon learned that magic always takes more then it gives. His heart turned cold, his mind began to fracture. But he got what he wanted. By the time he returned, it was too late. Everyone was frozen solid like petrified statues, perfectly preserved and lifeless. Failure was not something he was willing to except. He began to summon his newly acquired power to resurrect his people. But it came at a hefty price. His people were reanimated, but mere echo's of their former selves. Hallowed bodies without souls. He failed yet again. He decided to leave and forget all that he lost. He traveled deep into the storm. His body went numb, his vision blurred, and the voices grew louder. He spared one final glance at what he left behind as the snow engulfed the entire town. All that was left was the cold.
